HC Deb 10 November 1932 vol 270 c501
60. Mr. HORNBY

asked the Minister of Agriculture whether he will consider the appointment of visiting representatives to be in personal contact with agriculturists, with the object of disseminating and explaining the information provided by the Ministry for their use, as well as for the purpose of keeping the Ministry in close touch with their views?

Major ELLIOT

I think that the important purposes to which my hon. Friend refers are already served, as adequately as present circumstances permit, by existing agencies. If he so desires, I shall be happy to send him a full statement as to the nature and scope of those agencies.
