Sir H. YOUNGI am aware of the matter referred to by the hon. Member, but I regret that I have no funds at my disposal for use in such cases, nor do I think that I should be justified at this time in putting pressure on local authorities to intervene.
§ Mr. MANDERWill my right hon. Friend bear in mind that this very beautiful spot was the favourite fishing place of Izaak Walton and Charles Cotton, and will he use all the influence he has to preserve it?
