HC Deb 30 May 1932 vol 266 cc824-5
45. Mr. REMER

asked the Prime Minister if it is the intention of the Government, before the House rises, to devote a day for Debate on the Ottawa Conference in order that the policy of the Government can be stated to the House?

The LORD PRESIDENT of the COUNCIL (Mr. Baldwin)

My hon. Friend may not be aware that the Leader of the Opposition gave notice on Tuesday last that he would raise this question on an appropriate Supply Day.

Mr. REMER

On that occasion, will the Government give a clear indication to the country of what is their policy?

Mr. BALDWIN

I think the hon. Member must wait until the Supply Day comes.
