§ Captain DOWERIn view of the very grave need for economy in national expenditure, can the right hon. Gentleman say whether or not the Government intend to go on with these Land Tax proposals, and, if not, will they put an end to this wasteful and extravagant expenditure?
§ Major ELLIOTThis matter has been debated more than once on the Floor of the House, and we propose to deal with it in the appropriate part of the Finance Bill when it is reached.
