HC Deb 10 May 1932 vol 265 c1724
67. Mr. MANDER

asked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs if he will publish a White Paper relating to the British Government's negotiations between China and Japan since 18th September last?

The SECRETARY of STATE for FOREIGN AFFAIRS (Sir John Simon)

In the negotiations between China and Japan the United Kingdom Government has been acting as a member of the League of Nations. Two Command Papers (Misc. 4 and 5 of 1932) have already been laid on the subject, and two more will be in the hands of Members before the House rises on Friday. These, with answers to questions, give a very complete account, and I do not think any further documents are called for.
