HC Deb 07 March 1932 vol 262 c1471
39. Captain CROOKSHANK

asked the First Commissioner of Works whether there are any and, if so, how many refreshment bars in the precincts of the Palace of Westminster specifically allocated for the use of workmen, etc.; and whether his attention has been called to the use of such refreshment bars by persons other than those for whom they are intended?

The FIRST COMMISSIONER of WORKS (Mr. Ormsby-Gore)

There are two bars in the Palace of Westminster of the kind referred to by my hon. Friend. I have no official knowledge of the persons who make use of these bars as their management is not under my jurisdiction.
