HC Deb 23 June 1932 vol 267 c1259
60. Mr. D. GRAHAM

asked the Minister of Transport if he is aware that omnibus conductors in the employment of W. Alexander and Sons, Limited, Falkirk, are having deducted from their wages the full value of return tickets in cases where the return portion of the ticket has been lost; and, as such deductions are contrary to the provisions of the Truck Act, will he take the necessary steps to ensure a discontinuance of the practice?

The MINISTER of TRANSPORT (Mr. Pybus)

I am not aware of the practice to which the hon. Member refers. I am communicating, however, with the Lord Advocate with a view to inquiries being made by him.
