HC Deb 22 June 1932 vol 267 cc1079-80
4. Miss HORSBRUGH

(for Miss CAZALET) asked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether he is now in a position to inform the House of the terms in which it is intended to reply to the request from the Secretary-General of the League of Nations on 24th October, 1931, for the views of the British Government on the question of reconsideration of the Hague Nationality Convention and the claims on this matter put before the last Assembly by the International Women's Consultative Committee?

Mr. EDEN

The reply is still under consideration, and I regret that I am not yet in a position to inform the House of its terms.

Miss HORSBRUGH

Can the hon. Gentleman tell us when he will be able to give this information to the House?

Mr. EDEN

I hope within a very few days.
