§ 60. Mr. C. BROWNasked the Attorney-General if he is aware of the inconvenience caused to the inhabitants of the parish of Skegby, Notts, since the death of the last resident magistrate three years ago; and if he will recommend the making of a new appointment?
§ Captain AUSTIN HUDSON (Lord of the Treasury)I have been asked to reply. The question of the need for the appointment of a resident magistrate in the parish of Skegby will be referred by my Noble Friend, the Lord Chancellor, to the Advisory Committee, for their consideration.
§ Mr. BROWNIs the hon. and gallant Member aware that I put this question two years ago, and still nothing has been done? Will he stimulate the Notts Advisory Committee to act?
§ Captain HUDSONI think the hon. Member will see that action is being taken.
