HC Deb 11 July 1932 vol 268 cc887-8
40. Captain McEWEN

asked the Postmaster-General the expense involved of providing time stamps, for the postmarking of letters, in the case of those post offices which at present do not possess them?

Sir K. WOOD

The necessary information is not available, but I am making inquiry and will write to my hon. Friend.

Captain McEWEN

Will the right hon. Gentleman be prepared to consider individual cases in which it can be proved to his satisfaction that there is an urgent local demand for this stamp?

Sir K. WOOD

I will be glad to go into it with the hon. Gentleman.
