HC Deb 16 February 1932 vol 261 cc1458-9
60. Colonel WEDGWOOD

asked the Secretary of State for the Home Department whether, in view of new facts brought to his notice, he will permit the Hungarian, Frigyes Abel, and his English wife to stay in this country?

The SECRETARY of STATE for the HOME DEPARTMENT (Sir Herbert Samuel)

I have considered all the facts which have been brought to my notice with regard to Mr. Abel, but cannot depart from the decision already communicated to him. He entered the United Kingdom as a visitor and was under an obligation to leave it at the end of the visit.
