§ Sir S. HOAREI have no official information, though I have of course seen references to this matter in the Press. I am asking the Government of India for a report on the matter. As regards the second part of the question, the Gujerat Provincial Congress Committee was declared an unlawful association by the Bombay Government on the 5th January.
