HC Deb 11 February 1932 vol 261 cc1021-2
55. Mr. HUTCHISON

asked the Minister of Health whether he can investigate the staffing of the Oldchurch Hospital at Rumford, where recently an attendant lost his life in the execution of his duty by being attacked by an insane patient; whether the staff is adequate for the purpose; and whether he is aware of the dissatisfaction of the staff with the conditions of working and with the obsolete character of the building?

Sir H. YOUNG

Yes, Sir. I have asked for a report upon these matters. Pending the receipt of that report, my hon. Friend will, I am sure, not expect me to express any opinion in regard to the subject matter of the second part of the question.
