HC Deb 10 February 1932 vol 261 cc851-2
65. Sir NAIRNE STEWART SANDEMAN

asked the Secretary of State for India whether he will take steps to prevent any members of the All-World Gandhi Fellowship of New York obtaining passports which would enable them to land in India?

Sir S. HOARE

The organisation in question is not, according to my information, of any great importance, and I hesitate to take any general action on the lines suggested. A passport for India would, of course, be refused to any member of the organisation whose presence in India is known to be undesirable.
