HC Deb 04 February 1932 vol 261 c234
20. Mr. T. WILLIAMS

asked the Home Secretary whether the Government have considered the report of the Royal Commission on Licensing Laws (England and Wales); and, if so, what action they propose to take?

26. Mr. JOEL

asked the Home Secretary what are the intentions of the Government with regard to the recommendations of the Royal Commission on Licensing?

Sir H. SAMUEL

There has not yet been time for the Government to give adequate consideration, to this important report.

Mr. WILLIAMS

If I repeat the question, can the right hon. Gentleman give any idea when he will be able to reply?

Sir H. SAMUEL

I am afraid that I cannot give a date. We are preoccupied with other matters.
