BETTERTONThe amount borrowed for the Unemployment Fund for the week ended 30th January was £190,000, but figures for a, single week are liable to be misleading owing to variations in both income and expenditure as between particular weeks. The average amount borrowed weekly during the four weeks ended 30th January, 1932, was £272,500.
