§ 26. Mr. LOGAN(forMr. THORNE) asked the Minister of Transport if he has any information as to the number of omnibuses or other vehicles driven on creosote oil, and as to the selling price of this commodity and the approximate running cost for fuel per 100 miles?
§ Mr. PYBUSThe use of creosote oil as a propellant for motor vehicles is in an experimental stage and the number of vehicles using it is small. The experiments are being watched, but I am not in a position to give the figures as to cost and consumption for which the hon. Member asks.
