The PARLIAMENTARY SECRETARY to the MINISTRY of TRANSPORT (Lieut.-Colonel Head lam)The Government is not prepared to favour nationalisation of the means of transport on the lines suggested in the minority report of the Royal Commission on Transport. As regards the better regulation of the transport of goods by road, the Government have under consideration the recommendations of the Royal Commission and the recently issued report of the Rail and Road Conference.
