HC Deb 28 April 1932 vol 265 c551
4. Mr. LLEWELLYN-JONES

asked the Minister of Labour whether he is aware that, in connection with the structural alterations and additions which are being carried out at the aerodrome of His Majesty's Air Force situate at Sealand, in the county of Flint, workmen are being sent for employment from among the men on the register at the Chester Employment Exchange; and whether, as the whole of the aerodrome is situate in the county of Flint and there is considerable unemployment in this part of Flintshire, he will arrange that, in filling vacancies at the aerodrome, persons registered in the Flintshire Employment Exchanges shall have preference over men residing outside the county?

Mr. HUDSON

I am having inquiry made, and will communicate with my hon. Friend.
