§ 46. Captain ERSKINE-BOLST forasked the Prime Minister whether there is any co-operation between the Tariff Advisory Committee and the Economic Advisory Committee; and whether the functions of the latter have in any way been affected by the appointment of the former?
§ Mr. BALDWINAs regards the first part of the question, the Tariff Advisory Committee is an independent statutory body which has power to consult with any Government Department should it think it desirable to do so; the answer to the second part of the question is in the negative.
