HC Deb 20 April 1932 vol 264 c1467
34. Mr. CHORLTON

asked the President of the Board of Trade if, in view of the discriminatory action which is taking place against certain British imports in Central European countries, he will take steps to see this does not continue?

Mr. JOHN COLVILLE (Secretary, Overseas Trade Department)

I am not sure what cases of discrimination my hon. Friend has in mind, but he may rest assured that all possible steps will be taken to prevent discrimination being practised against United Kingdom goods in any country.

Mr. CHORLTON

Will my hon. Friend make particular reference to beverages?

Mr. COLVILLE

I will take note of my hon. Friend's suggestion.
