HC Deb 28 September 1931 vol 257 c32
44. Mr. LAWTHER

asked the Minister of Labour how many unemployed persons are registered at Middleton-in-Teesdale, Barnard Castle, Cockfield, St. John's Chapel, Stanhope, Wolsingham, Lanchester, and Langley Park; and how many of these have drawn 26 or more Weeks' benefit during the present benefit year, giving the figures for the last week for which both sexes are available or for which a reliable estimate can be made?

Mr. GRAY

As the reply includes a table of figures I will, if I may, circulate a statement in the OFFICIAL REPORT.

Following is the statement:

and arrangements will be made for approved expenditure thus incurred to be reimbursed by the Ministry.
