HC Deb 28 September 1931 vol 257 c37
Mr. ARTHUR HENDERSON

Is the Prime Minister now in a position to say when the Government propose to bring this part of the Session to an end? Secondly, what is the object of the Motion on the Paper for the suspension of the Eleven o'Clock Rule to-night?

The PRIME MINISTER

I do not propose to move the Motion for the suspension of the Eleven o'Clock Rule. If my right hon. Friend will repeat his other question on Wednesday, I hope to be able to give him a definite reply. There is some business that we are not quite sure about.

Mr. HENDERSON

Will the right hon. Gentleman keep in mind, when this matter is being considered, the position I have already put to him with regard to next week?

The PRIME MINISTER

Yes.
