HC Deb 23 November 1931 vol 260 c41
59. Sir GERVAIS RENTOUL

asked the First Commissioner of Works whether he is aware that the present office accommodation provided for His Majesty's Inspector of Taxes and staff at Lowestoft is unsatisfactory; and whether it is proposed to obtain alternative accommodation?

Mr. ORMSBY-GORE

The answer to the first part of the question is in the affirmative. The rehousing of this office has been under consideration for some time, and, as soon as suitable alternative premises can be obtained at a reasonable rent, steps will be taken to rehouse the Lowestoft Tax Office.
