HC Deb 12 November 1931 vol 259 c249
14. Mr. T. WILLIAMS

asked the Minister of Health whether it is proposed to re-introduce the Town and Country Planning Bill which passed Committee stage during the late Parliament, and which received a large measure of support in this House and in the country?

18. Lieut.-Colonel FREMANTLE

asked the Minister of Health if he will re-introduce the Town and Country Planning Bill, which passed through the Committee stage of this House in the last Parliament?

Sir H. YOUNG

Careful consideration will be given to this matter with a view-to an early decision as soon as circumstances permit.

Lieut.-Colonel FREMANTLE

Does the right hon. Gentleman recognise that one of the Clauses of the Finance Act which was passed made the assessment of properties dependent upon agreements which were included in Clause 29 of this Bill, and therefore a solution is required at once?

Sir H. YOUNG

Undoubtedly that will be taken into consideration in reviewing the question of the re-introduction of the Bill.
