asked the Prime Minister if he will invite to a conference representatives of all those countries which have at some time since 1918 adhered to the Gold Standard and which have since been obliged to abandon that standard, with a view to the consideration of temporary measures to secure stability in international exchange?

The PRIME MINISTER

I cannot make any statement on this subject at the moment, but the House may accept my assurance that the situation is being constantly watched.
