asked the Prime Minister what sales of obsolete armaments or war material have been made by the Government during the past year to foreign countries?

The PRIME MINISTER

On the assumption that by "obsolete" is meant "surplus," the following sales of armaments and war material to foreign countries were made during the year ended 31st March, 1931:

Lewis Guns 703
Rifles 100
Revolvers 75
Steel Helmets 10,000
Directors 50
Geophones 10
