63. Mr. MANDER

asked the UnderSecretary of State for Air the names of the present members of the Civil Aviation Advisory Committee; how many meetings have been held during the past year; and what results have been obtained?

Mr. MONTAGUE

The present members of the Civil Aviation Consultative Committee, to which I assume the hon. Member refers, are Sir A. G. Anderson, K.B.E.; Captain Sir W. Brass, M.P.; Mr. J. Quirey, C.B.E.; Lieut.-Colonel M. O'Gorman, C.B.; Lord Snell, C.B.E.; and myself as Chairman. Twelve meetings have been held, six of which took place during last year, and four reports have been presented to date.

The reports are confidential, but, if the hon. Member wishes to know the terms of the reports I will see what can be done.
