HC Deb 14 May 1931 vol 252 c1358
50. Mr. BRACKEN

asked the Prime Minister whether it is proposed to call further meetings of the Round Table Conference or of the Federal Structure Committee before a settlement has been made of the Moslem-Hindu differences?

The PRIME MINISTER

I am not yet in a position to make any statement about the arrangements for re-assembling the Federal Structure Committee and the Round Table Conference.

Mr. BRACKEN

Is not the right hon. Gentleman aware that members of his own Administration, the Princes, the leaders of the Moslems and Mr. Gandhi have said it is useless to hold any further meetings of the Round Table Conference until those conditions are settled, and when will he be in a position to make a statement?
