§ Miss BONDFIELDThe total amount of interest paid on Treasury advances to the Unemployment Fund between July, 1921 and 30th September last, was £8,675,276. The next half yearly payment of interest will be due on 31st March next. The interest payable on a debt of £90,000,000 at the average rate now being paid in respect of the existing debt would be about £4,300,000 per annum.
