§ 21. Commander BELLAIRSasked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether he can state what agreement has been arrived at with regard to the construction of the dam at the mouth of Lake Tsana for the control of the irrigation on the Blue Nile between Great Britain and Abyssinia; and can he state who is to finance the construction of the dam and who is to construct it?
Mr. A. HENDERSONI would refer the hon. and gallant Member to the reply returned to the right hon. Gentleman the Member for Wood Green (Mr. G. Locker-Lampson) on the 13th of May. No decision has yet been taken as regards either the construction or the financing of this dam.
