§ Miss BONDFIELDSeparate statistics of employment and unemployment in the tin-mining industry are not available. For statistical purposes persons employed in this industry are included in the industrial group "Lead, Tin and Copper Mining," and at 22nd June, 1931, there were 3,163 insured persons in this classification recorded as unemployed in Great Britain. The corresponding figure at 23rd June, 1930, was 1,620.
