Mr. LOUIS SMITHasked the Under-Secretary of State for the Home Department whether he has now reconsidered the proposed changes with regard to the inspection of boilers; and whether he has been able to accept the amendments put forward by the Federation of British Industries and the National Federation of Employers' Organisations?
§ Mr. CLYNESI have carefully considered the modifications proposed and have been in consultation with the Board of Trade, but I have not reached any final decision. I will communicate with the hon. Member as soon as the matter is settled.
