§ Mr. CLYNESYes, Sir, and the Government have decided that it is desirable that Parliament should have an early opportunity of pronouncing upon the whole matter. With that object they propose to introduce a Bill at an early date.
§ Mr. DAYWill my right hon. Friend also consider inserting a Clause which will make inoperative the breaches of the Sunday Observance Act which have been committed by cinemas in the past.
§ Mr. CLYNESThat matter is under consideration in regard to questions covered by the Bill.
§ Lieut. - Commander KENWORTHYWhen the right hon. Gentleman speaks of the House having an opportunity, does that mean that there will be a free vote on this question?
§ Mr. CLYNESI should hope so.
§ Mr. ISAACSCan the right hon. Gentleman say when the Bill is likely to be ready?
