HC Deb 26 February 1931 vol 248 c2260
26. Mr. C. WILLIAMS

asked the Home Secretary if he is yet in a position to state when he expects to receive the report of the Royal Commission on Licensing?

Mr. CLYNES

I regret that I cannot add anything to the reply given to a question by the hon. Member for Barrow-in-Furness (Mr. Bromley) on this subject on the 9th instant.

Mr. WILLIAMS

Can the right hon. Gentleman say whether there is any prospect of this Commission issuing a report before the end of July?

Mr. CLYNES

I believe so. I understand that the Commission is now steadily working on it.
