asked the Minister of Labour the number of insured persons between the ages of 16 and 64 years classified as belonging to the group of musical instrument manufacture in Great Brirtain as at the last convenient date, in 1930, and giving comparable figures for the same date in 1928?

Miss BONDFIELD

It is estimated that at July, 1930, there were 26,220 insured persons classified as belonging to the musical instruments industry in Great Britain as compared with 26,130 at July, 1928.

Does it show that there is an increase of workers in this industry?

Miss BONDFIELD

Yes.
