HC Deb 11 February 1931 vol 248 c382
23. Sir BERTRAM FALLE

asked the First Lord of the Admiralty whether naval ratings who are invalided from His Majesty's Service and sent on 28 days' leave for final discharge, requiring medical treatment whilst on leave, are eligible for treatment by naval surgeons and agents; and, if not, who is responsible for their medical care?

Mr. ALEXANDER

Naval ratings and Royal Marines who are invalided, are eligible to receive medical treatment as a charge to Naval Funds from Admiralty surgeons and agents or civil practitioners during the period of their 28 days invaliding leave.
