asked the Minister of Health how many local authorities have forwarded resolutions to him proposing that the review of county districts under the Local Government Act, 1929, should be postponed for three years in the interest of economy; and whether he proposes to take any action in this matter?

I have received resolutions that the review of county districts should be postponed from 59 urban and 124 rural district councils. As regards the second part of the question, I would refer my lion. Friend to the reply I gave on the 19th ultimo to a question on this subject by the hon. Member for Denbigh (Dr. Morris-Jones).
