§ The SECRETARY for MINES (Mr. Shinwell)The output per man-shift worked by all workers employed in the coal mines in Great Britain in 1930 was 21.63 cwts. and in Lancashire and Cheshire 17.32 cwts. I regret that similar information is not available for 1913 but in June, 1914, the corresponding figures were 20.32 cwts. and 15.19 cwts., respectively.
