HC Deb 20 April 1931 vol 251 c585
18. Sir KINGSLEY WOOD

asked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether he can now indicate the arrangements that have been made as to the forthcoming disarmament conference; where the conference will meet; and whether he has received any further communications from the Soviet Government in relation to the conference?

The SECRETARY of STATE for FOREIGN AFFAIRS (Mr. Arthur Henderson)

With regard to arrangements for the forthcoming disarmament conference, and to its meeting place, I would refer the right hon. Gentleman to the answer which I gave him on the 18th of February, to which I have nothing to add. The matter will be further considered by the council of the League of Nations at its session next month. The answer to the last part of the question is in the negative.
