HC Deb 16 April 1931 vol 251 cc348-9
45. Mr. DAY

asked the Prime Minister what is the Government's decision in the matter of the applications made to the Government for the purpose of taking a British sound film of the House of Commons in Session?

The PRIME MINISTER

The position is as stated in the reply which I gave to my hon. Friend on 23rd February last, and to which I have nothing to add.

Mr. DAY

When the applications are considered, will British companies be considered

The PRIME MINISTER

It is obvious that the wish of the House is that no company should be considered.

Mr. E. BROWN

May I suggest that, if such a thing were done, it should not be done during Question Time.
