§ Major NATHAN; Can the right hon. Lady say whether or not the figures indicate that since April, 1929, the increase of unemployment in that area is about three-fold?
§ Miss BONDFIELDI will give two sets of figures, if the hon. and gallant Member wishes. On 11th February, 1929, the total was 2,979, and on the 16th March, 1931, the total was 6,881.
