HC Deb 15 April 1931 vol 251 c184
45. Mr. C. WILLIAMS

asked the Prime Minister if he is yet in a position to state the policy of the Government in connection with the state of the betting laws; and if he now proposes to find time for legislation dealing with this matter?

The PRIME MINISTER

I would refer the hon. Member to the reply given to him on the 1st April by my right hon. Friend the Secretary of State for Dominion Affairs, to which I have nothing to add.

Mr. WILLIAMS

Are we to understand that the whole Government policy is a first of April policy?
