HC Deb 03 November 1930 vol 244 c437
6. Major GRAHAM POLE

asked the Secretary of State for Indian if he can give information showing the number of applications that have been made to the Indian Railway Rates Advisory Committee during the last year; and what proportion of these applications were accepted?

Mr. BENN

Figures for the past year are not available separately. Since the constitution of the Committee in 1926, 31 cases have up to July last been referred to it. Of these applications 11 have been accepted in whole or part, a few were still under investigation, and a certain number called for no action.
