asked the Minister of Agriculture what quantities of homegrown wheat, oats and barley were sold during the two months September and October, 1929, and during the two months September and October, 1930?

Dr. ADDISON

The quantities of British wheat, barley and oats returned under the Corn Returns Act, 1882, and the Corn Sales Act, 1921, as purchased at scheduled towns during the two months period September and October, 1930, were 1,169,129 cwt., 2,125,529 cwt. and 371,493 cwt., respectively. The figures for the corresponding period of 1929 were 2,492,879 cwt., 3,309,647 cwt. and 567,946 cwt., respectively.
