Major POLEasked the Secretary of State for India whether the Government of India has accepted the recommendation of the Haj Inquiry Committee to the effect that a centralised agency should be set up to keep the Government in close touch with the problems relating to Haj pilgrims; and whether any decision has been arrived at by the Government in regard to the other recommendations of the above Committee?
§ Mr. BENNAs regards the first part of the question, I would refer my hon. and gallant Friend to the reply which I gave to a question asked by him on the 31st July. I have not yet heard what the intentions of the Government of India are in regard to the other recommendations of the committee.
