§ Miss BONDFIELDAt 12th May, 1930, there were 4,756 persons on the registers of the Employment Exchange at Plymouth and 2,204 at Devonport, as compared with 4,072 at Plymouth and 1,724 at Devonport at 13th May, 1929. The estimated numbers of persons on the registers at 12th May, 1930, due to the operation of the new Unemployment Insurance Act, were 60 at Plymouth and 40 at Devonport.
