HC Deb 22 May 1930 vol 239 c573
56. Lieut.-Colonel HENEAGE

asked the Minister of Health whether his attention has been called to the delay in authorising the alterations and improvements required by the visiting committee to the Bracebridge Mental Hospital; whether he is aware that the committee is being constantly referred from one Government Department to another; and whether he can see his way to obviate the present delay in the interests of patients?

Mr. GREENWOOD

The proposals have required the consideration of the Ministry of Health and the Electricity Commissioners as to the power plant at the Hospital. I will endeavour to ensure that an early decision is given.

Lieut.-Colonel HENEAGE

Can the right hon. Gentleman say whether he is co-ordinating the arrangements, or whether some other Department is arranging this matter?

Mr. GREENWOOD

All arrangements in any Government are co-ordinated.
