HC Deb 20 May 1930 vol 239 cc192-3
11. Mr. MANDER

asked the President of the Board of Trade whether it is proposed to introduce this Session the Bill dealing with the purchase of mining royalties?

Mr. W. GRAHAM

I would refer the hon. Member to the reply that I gave him to a similar question on 25th February last, to which I am afraid I can add nothing at present.

Mr. MANDER

Is it not possible to give some indication to the public of the introduction of this very important Bill?

Mr. GRAHAM

I have explained that every effort will be made to introduce it before the end of July, but I am afraid that we cannot make more progress with it.

Mr. C. WILLIAMS

What is holding up all these Bills?

Mr. GRAHAM

The hon. Member and other hon. Members on his side of the House.

Major COLFOX

Does the right hon. Gentleman recognise what a high compliment he has paid to His Majesty's Opposition?
