HC Deb 08 May 1930 vol 238 cc1097-8
3. Mr. ALBERY

asked the Minister of Labour whether she is aware that complaints are still made that British workmen employed on American ships for repair work do not always have their employment cards stamped and are subsequently unable to obtain unemployment benefit; and if she will take steps to remedy this?

Miss BONDFIELD

I am not aware of any cases of the kind referred to by the hon. Member, but if he will send me particulars, I will make inquiries.
